COVID19 – What you need to know before booking

Pursuant to Council of Ministers Resolution No. 91-A/2021, when making a reservation, the client accepts that, from July 10th, due to the new prevention laws in force in Portugal, before check-in, he/she must present a European certificate (Green Pass), a negative PCR test carried out in the last 72 hours before the check-in at our establishment, or alternatively a negative rapid test carried out in the last 24 hours before checking-in. We are sorry for this inconvenience, but we are doing all we can do comply with our country’s directions and regulations for your safety. We kindly ask you to please send us one of these documents as proof via e-mail / WhatsApp message before your check-in date, so we can make this process quicker for your comfort. Please note: Children aged 12 years and under are not required to take the test or present a vaccination certificate. Thank you for understanding!

Conforme a Resolução do Conselho de Ministros n.º 91-A/2021, ao fazer uma reserva, o cliente aceita que, a partir de 10 de julho, devido às novas leis de prevenção vigentes em vigor em Portugal, antes do check-in, deve apresentar um certificado europeu (Green Pass), um teste PCR negativo feito nas últimas 72h antes do seu check-in no nosso estabelecimento, ou alternativamente um teste rápido negativo feito nas últimas 24h antes do  check-in. Lamentamos o inconveniente, mas estamos a fazer tudo o que podemos para cumprir as instruções e regulamentos de nosso país para a sua segurança. Solicitamos que nos envie um destes documentos como comprovativo via e-mail / mensagem antes da data de check-in, para que possamos agilizar este processo, de forma a que seja mais cómodo para si. Observação: As crianças menores de 12 anos não precisam fazer o teste, nem apresentar certificado de vacinação. Obrigado pela compreensão.

COVID19 – Our Safety Measures

Your safety is our priority, hence our hostel complies with all safety, cleaning and sanitation standards so that our facilities are clean and safe. Our team is working very hard to adapt to the regulations and make sure you have a safe and unforgettable stay with us.

1. TRAINING OF HOSTEL EMPLOYEES

  • How to comply with the basic precautions for infection prevention and control – which includes hand hygiene, wearing of mask  and social conduct;
  • How to comply with the guidelines of the General Health Directive for cleaning surfaces and treating clothes in establishments. 

 

2. CUSTOMER INFORMATION

  • How to comply with basic precautions for prevention and infection control in relation to the coronavirus outbreak COVID-19. 

 

3. THE HOSTEL PROVIDES: 

  • Dispensers of alcohol-based antiseptic solution or alcohol-based solution near the entry and exit points
  • In the sanitary facilities equipment for washing hands with liquid soap and paper towels. 

 

4. THE HOTEL ENSURES: 

  • Washing and disinfection, in accordance with the internal protocol, of the surfaces where employees and customers circulate, ensuring control and prevention

 

5. FACILITIES UNAVAILABLE & CHANGES DUE TO THE PANDEMIC

  • Bar & Breakfast
  • Hair dryer in the common bathrooms
  • Gate always closed
  • Visitors forbidden (those who didn’t book a night at Sagres Sun Stay)
  • Mandatory use of masks

What is our cancellation Policy?

  • We refund 100% of the total amount of your stay, when the cancellation is made up to 4 days before your arrival date
  • We refund 50% of the total amount of your stay, when the cancellation is made within 4 days  before your arrival date.
  • We do not refund in case of a “no-show(exceptions made in case of proof of cancellation)
